ALBERTA BLACK POWDER ASSOCIATION

The Alberta Black Powder Association (ABPA) promotes Black Powder Shooting in the Province of Alberta.

Objectives

 

  1. To encourage interest in the early history of Alberta
  2. To encourage development of the old skills and trades
  3. To co-ordinate the activities of members throughout the province
  4. To acquire lands, by purchase or otherwise, erect or otherwise provide a building or buildings for social, cultural or historical purposes
  5. To encourage both competition, using original or reproduction firearms of the pioneer era, and the safe handling of such firearms
  6. To encourage the organization of rendezvous, to promote re-enactment of the lifestyle of our forefathers
  7. To distribute a newsletter to all members.
